When Parents Text: So Much Said...So Little Understood by Lauren Kaelin and Sophia Fraioli
When Parents Text is one of our favorite new books at the library! The authors, Lauren and Sophia, are two recent college grads who couldn't stop laughing at how ridiculous some of their parents' text messages are. They decided to create a website so that they could share their parents' text messages with the world, and have other young people send in their own text conversations with their parents. Now they have turned the website into a book which features the funniest, strangest text convo's between parents and their kids, filled with bad jokes, crazy emoticons, and seemingly nonsensical messages sent in all caps and complete with forty exclamation points. Will parents ever learn the lingo? Probably not...
